Hi again, Melanie. I do have another question…did you lose a lot of hair post surgery? I’ve been attending a bariatric weight loss group and the common factor for quite a few is hair loss. And did you take anything for that issue? Thanks again for posting your vids…they’re truly an inspiration! I’m still waiting to get mine approved…

I have 21 years old and I’m going to have my lapband surgery December 14 2009 ! I can’t wait to have it.. I really want, one day, wear a bikini or something like thats.. but in your video, you arent sure about your skin and I’m scared about mine even I know that my skin is so elastic lol !!!

I did anywhere btwn 3-5 miles on the treadmil. Thats 1 – 1/2 hours jogging on the treadmil doing a speed of about 4.2 and I did about 1 hr of eliptical. I did that 4 to 5x a week. All Cardio

I now could eat w/ them since hitting goal. Im not too controlling over my diet anymore. However the band does restrict me from eating a big portion. Im only limited as to how much I can eat. When I was on a strict diet, I would avoid sitting down at the dinner table. LOL

Thanks for understanding about plastic surgery. Most people are very anti-plastic surgery but I like you, I think its the ultimate reward especially since im going to hit 1 yr post-op.

I had to come back and watch your videos again today becuz everyday i get someone trying to scare me off the table so i turn to my lapband youtube buddies to keep me strong! Wish me luck guys! Hi Melanie. My surgery is set for October 22nd, here in colorado springs. I am excited and a little nervous. My biggest fear is failing. I am at 295 right now. I’m about to start my liquid diet. I just hope that I can do this.
