Thank you. Im glad to help. Let me know if there is anything I can answer for you. I agree with you – there does seem to be a shortage of LapBanders vlogging. I watch everyone regardless of surgery, but its nice to see the peeps going through the same thing as me.

I love modern technology! Those scars are so tiny. Your videos have been really helpful because I want to get the LapBand and most of the poeople I have subscribed to have had gastric bypass. I know some of the processes are the same but it’s nice to see someone who is doing the exact surgery I hope to have. Thanks!

I am pleased to report I slept 5 hours straight last night. Of course I did it by sleeping on my port…but I am sure that will become more comfortable by the day!

My doc will make the call on a case by case basis, but basically whenever I am on liquid diet I am not to swallow pills. So now, and then again the day of a fill (although since I take my meds in the morning I will just take them before my fills). Many people do have problems with taking large pills forever though – you may want to pick up a pill cutter – makes life easier!

I will be out 9 days, but thats because I had surgery on a Friday. Truth be told, I have been to work Monday and Tuesday (today is Wednesday and I will walk over shortly) for like a half hour each day and am doing just fine. Right now I take my nausea meds at night (because I am a nervous girl) but mostly I am just on OTC gas-x and liquid tylenol and doing aok!

Thanks Sara-Jane. How long will you take off from work?

You can’t swallow pills? Is that because your pouch is still swollen, or is that going to be for always? I hope you feel better with each and everyday. Take Care!
